About
Established in 2021, New Elements was designed from the ground-up, with sustainability in mind. The facility is located south of Jordan, to the east of Wadi Rum on a 2,000 km2 concession area in the central part of the Dubaydib Sand Formation in Wadi Al-Mezrab, 350 km south of Amman, and 100 km from east to northeast of Aqaba. Phase I comprises 4 km2, mainly used as a proof of concept to test the availability, quality, and concentration of the mineral sands and the REE.

Objective
Our project aims to secure a substantial market share of Jordanian strategic metals globally, while positioning Jordan as a regional powerhouse for geological and economic development, particularly in the field of green energy transition. In addition to incorporating a range of environmental, recycling, and emissions reduction features, the facility is also fully aligned with the benchmarked global standards to provide:
Zero process water discharge facility with mine water treatment.
Avoidance of permanent impacts to the surrounding environment.
Recycling of reagents.
Groundwater protection with artificial ground freezing.
Utilizing tailings as underground mine backfill.
Local employment.
Independent auditing and reporting mechanisms.
