Mineral Sands
The main umbrella of our excavation and production activities are Mineral Sands, a group of naturally occurring minerals comprising zircon, titanium, and various critical elements, including rare earth metals. They exhibit remarkable properties, including high heat resistance and durability, rendering them invaluable and vital in a wide array of advanced technologies.
New Elements specializes in a range of major elements within the mineral sands group, including zircon and titanium minerals. Our product lines encompass various grades and specifications to cater to diverse industrial needs and applications. Titanium, for its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight nature, is crucial for aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, and is available in different grades tailored to specific customer requirements. Contrary to their namesake, rare earth elements are not particularly rare in abundance, but they are found in low concentrations making it challenging to extract and refine economically.
